Incline Plane - (814) 536-1816

If you're anywhere near historic Johnstown, PA, you have to ride the Incline Plane. I think it's the steepest incline anywhere. You can actually drive your car onto this platform if you like - or just step on and ride up (or down) the hillside. When you're at the top, take in the view of beautiful Johnstown and the rivers. If you learn a little about the history of the Johnstown Flood of the late 1800's you'll be able to see where the water came down the hill into the valley. The Incline Plane also has a little gift shop and a very nice restaurant as well.
